Adrian Gomez was born in San Jose in 1962 and started studying art at the age of 11. His artwork represents the essence of ”Pura Vida” which expresses the identity of Costa Ricans: their optimism, tranquility, and happiness in life.

He is a renowned Costa Rican artist who has been depicting the brilliance and brightness of the Caribbean for over 25 years. His style is bold, colorful, simple and stunning.

Bright colors, happy children eating watermelons and making swing, umbrellas, birds, affection in life of family and the freedom of childhood are some of his artistic touches..

Adrian Gomez is one of the most important artist today in Costa Rica. His collection ”Caribe” won every heart in Costa Rica. His pieces are very well sold and have became the “Romero Britto” from his country.
