Indra Geed – Fine Arts
Indra Geed Biography
I was born and raised in a family of artists in Ubud-Bali. It makes me feel honored to be part of the generation and I am more than happy to keep it going. My father taught me to paint when I was 5 years old. As I grew up I learned more from other great artists and by teaching myself different styles. I find it rewarding and fun to explore different styles. I enjoy creating and playing with new imaginations through visual art until you find your own style which then becomes your identity. I like to call my style “Psychedelic Surrealism”, as it’s what I really feel and see in my artwork.
I started off by painting traditional Balinese paintings and slowly moved on to more modern art. Art has always been a large part of my life. When I was younger I joined several art competitions for children and now I’m working more on doing personal art projects with people. I would like to work more as an artist professionally and be more of an artistic influence on young artist worldwide, especially on the Balinese who are currently lacking artistic motivation.
