Christina Gazi – Dancer / Choreographer
Christina Gazi (GR) was born in Greece in 1991. She start dancing at the early age of five, mainly ballet but also modern and contemporary. When she was eighteen, she expanded her knowledge at the Professional Dance Academy Despina Grhgoriadou in Athens, Greece where she studied ballet, limon and cunningham graduating as a dance teacher. She danced in various professional dance companies.
In 2013 she was accepted to the Ajkun Ballet Theater in U.S.A to perform repertory works. Also at the same year she was accepted to SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) on their Undergraduate Program – Artist in Process, where she expended her skills on the contemporary dance, choreography, physical theater, improvisation, movement research, improvisation, contact improvisation, partnering, somatic and other alternatives techniques.
